Tell me more about the pilot.

We are seeking ~20 local businesses to feature in the pilot from a broad set of categories. We'll start distributing the Local Perk newsletter through downtown apartments and expand from there.

What kind of offers work best?

Offers that are easy to understand and low-lift for your team work best. This could be a free sample, bonus item, early access, or a small incentive for first-time customers. You don’t need to run a discount. We’ll guide you based on your goals.

Do I have to offer a discount?

No. Many businesses use LocalPerk to offer bonuses or special experiences rather than pure discounts. You decide what fits your brand and margins.

How do customers redeem the perk?

They show the perk on their phone when they visit your business. You enter the code or follow your usual in-store process. No scanning or tech integrations required.

Can I change or pause my offer?

Yes. You can update your perk monthly or pause it anytime. We’ll remind you when it’s time to refresh and suggest ideas if helpful.

Why do perks expire each month?
